Healthy Vegan Peanut Butter Cups

I’m the biggest peanut butter lover you’ll ever meet. I’m also the biggest chocolate lover you’ll ever meet. So it’s understandable that Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are my absolute favorite candy bar. However, I try not to eat them too too often since they’re packed with sugar. In fact, just one serving of peanut butter cups contains 22g of sugar. It’s mind blowing.

So that’s why I decided to try and make a healthier version of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. My recipe is vegan and is made with natural ingredients only.

*This recipe yields about 8 peanut butter cups


  • 1 cup of cocoa

  • 1/2 cup of melted coconut oil

  • 2 TSP of cinnamon

  • 3 TBS of maple syrup

  • Natural peanut butter


  • In a bowl, combine cocoa, melted coconut oil, cinnamon and maple syrup and stir well

  • In a silicone muffin cup, pour 2 TBS of the chocolate mixture then 1 TBS of peanut butter and then another TBS of the chocolate mixture

  • Store in fridge for a couple of hours

  • Enjoy
